Baliguda Town

BALIGUDA

Baliguda is a Town in Kandhamal. One of the tourist place of kandhamal district. Most people here depend on farming. Baliguda is a Notified Area Council, 80 per cent of the people are educated. A small park is named Trivedi Park in the middle of the city. National Highway 57connects the city to Bhawanipatna through the city. The headquarters of Kandhamal district is Phulbani and it is 80 km from Baliguda town. The road is connected from Baliguda town to Balangir, Rayagada district. The city is surrounded by hills. Tumudibandha is 35 km away. The temple of Lord Shiva is also very popular here. Daringibadi is located 50 km away and is known as Darjeeling of Odisha.
