Katramal Waterfall:
You can find Katramal waterfall towards gochapada road distance is about 30 km  from the phulbani town.It is not only famous for the senic beauty but also for the variety of fish found stream below. It opens from morning 7 am to 5 pm.

Pilasalunki Dam:
It is a great place for evening walk,bird watching. and suitable for the quiet picnic(specially in winter season).It is just 15 km from phulbani town.

Balaskumpa- Maa Baral Devi Temple:

Urmagada Waterfall:
Located in the forests of Kandhamal,it is approximately 25 km from Phulbani.It is a large waterfall that flow for a considerable distance through the forest making it a treat for the eyes and ears. The surrounding environment is incredibly peaceful and largely untouched from the commercial tourism.urmagada offers countless opportunities for capturing breathtaking photographs.

Maa Narayani Temple :
It is located bank of river.Maa Narayani is another form of Maa durga. Temple placed in Narayani Sahi road near agriculture colony. Maa Narayani Jatra is the most prominent festival of Maa Narayani.

  • Ideal (November to February) The weather is pleasantly cool and dry.(Day time 15 degree to 25 degree and night is cool) skys are clear and atmosphereis greeny and full of oxygen.
  • Good(October to March) in october scenery becomes very green after the rainy season but occasional showers possible.but it is best time to visit.
  • Monsoon(July to October) From july to september hills become very green and the waterfall are in full stream looks amazing. you need to be carful during travel 
  • Summer(April to june) climate is hot in phulbani temperature is  nearly 30 degree to 38 degree celcius.In belghar or daringibadi temperature remain cooler.waterlever of all waterfall may reduce.

How to Reach Phulbani:

By Road: 
Phulbani is well connected by  regular government bus and Private bus. You may hire Car, or other vehicles. From Berhampur,Bhubaneswar or other major cities communication to phulbani is available. 
By Train: 
Nearest Railway Station is Berhampur,Puruna katak and Railrakho,Boudh,Muniguda.From there you may hire fourwheeler. government and private also available.
By Air: 
Nearest AirPort is Bhubaneswar Bijupattnaik international Airport. From there you will get bus from Baramunda Bus Stand for Phulbani and the bus also available.

It is best to have hire taxi or own car or bike to easily visit waterfall or distance sites.

For staying you may Choose government guest house and affordable lodges in phulbani. Daringbadi has more hotels that caters to tourists.Make sure to book early during festivals.

In some remote areas ATM may not available and UPI payment may not have options so carry sufficient cash.
